Who’s Got Pockets is a free, brokerage-neutral network for licensed California real estate agents. Agents post buyer needs and pre-market opportunities and search each other’s. Membership is free forever, and Who’s Got Pockets never takes a referral fee or any part of a commission.
Does Who’s Got Pockets take a referral fee?
No. Who’s Got Pockets never takes a referral fee, never takes a percentage of a commission, and is never a party to your transaction. Agents keep 100% of what they earn. If two agents on the network agree to refer business to each other, that arrangement is between the two agents and their brokerages, and Who’s Got Pockets receives nothing from it.
Is Who’s Got Pockets free?
Yes. Membership is free forever for licensed California real estate agents. There are no dues, no membership tiers, no per-post charges, and no paid upgrade that gets an agent better placement. Every agent on the network sees the same buyer needs and the same pocket opportunities.
Then how does Who’s Got Pockets make money?
Flat-fee advertising and sponsorship only. Vendors and brokerages pay a fixed monthly amount to advertise to the network. That is the entire business model. Who’s Got Pockets does not sell leads, does not take a cut of any deal, and does not charge agents for anything. Paying never buys an exception to the posting rules.
What is Who’s Got Pockets?
Who’s Got Pockets is a private, brokerage-neutral network for licensed California real estate agents. Agents post what their buyers are looking for and the pre-market or coming-soon opportunities they are quietly working. Both are searchable by city, property type, bedrooms, price range, and timeline, so an agent with a buyer can find the agent with the property.
Who can join Who’s Got Pockets?
Any actively licensed California real estate agent. Every account is verified against a DRE license number. Membership is not tied to a brokerage, a board, or an association.
Do I have to leave my brokerage to join?
No. Who’s Got Pockets is brokerage-neutral. Agents keep their brokerage, their clients, their branding, and their commission. The network sits alongside where an agent already works.
Is Who’s Got Pockets an MLS?
No. Who’s Got Pockets is not a multiple listing service and is not a substitute for one. It is a private agent network where buyer needs and pre-market opportunities are searchable like the MLS, by the same kinds of criteria agents already use. Active listings belong on the MLS and are not posted on the network.
Can I post an active listing on Who’s Got Pockets?
No. The network is for buyer needs and for pre-market and coming-soon opportunities only. Once a property is actively listed it comes off the network. This rule applies to every member, including paying sponsors.
What is a buyer need?
A buyer need is a structured post describing what an agent’s buyer is looking for: city, property type, bedrooms, bathrooms, price range, square footage, must-haves, and timeline. Other agents search buyer needs to find a home for a property they are working on before it ever goes to market.
What is a pocket listing or pre-market property on the network?
A pre-market or coming-soon property is one the seller has authorized the agent to work quietly, before it is publicly listed. Agents post it to the network so other agents with matching buyers can reach them directly. Agents post their own business only, with their seller’s authorization.
What are Match Alerts?
Match Alerts notify an agent the moment a new post on the network lines up with what they are looking for. An agent with a buyer need is told when a matching pre-market property is posted, and an agent with a property is told when a matching buyer need appears. Contact is agent to agent, one to one.
What is Stealth mode?
Stealth mode lets an agent enter a property that is never displayed anywhere on the network. It does not appear on the board, in the newsletter, or in any graphic. It exists only to trigger a private alert to the posting agent when a matching buyer need appears. Nothing about the property is shown to anyone else.
Can agents send referrals to each other on Who’s Got Pockets?
Yes. Agent-to-agent referrals are one of the reasons the network exists, including across California when a client is moving between regions. The referring agent and the receiving agent negotiate their own arrangement directly through their brokerages. Who’s Got Pockets is not a party to it and receives no portion of it.
Where does Who’s Got Pockets operate?
Who’s Got Pockets started in Orange County and now serves agents across Southern California, with coverage expanding statewide through brokerage partnerships.
